WELCOME TO SKELMANTHORPE HISTORICAL SOCIETY

This is a view of the Garrett buildings at the junction of Cumberworth Rd. and Huddersfield Rd. at a point known locally as "The Triangle". It was the location of the first textile mill owned and run by the Field family who had subsequent mills in the village and were one of the primary employers of the area.
